On their way home from school, Faith and her friend Monet encounter a bad man who intends to kidnap them. Monet escapes, but Faith is taken by the man to a rickety house deep in the woods. She doesn't know what is going to happen to her; will she ever see her family again? With the help of the woman with wings, though, Faith may be able to escape and find her way home. This children's story tells the tale of a kidnapped little girl who must find her way home with the help of a special, magical guardian.
