Dusting blueberry land with calcium arsenate has proved to be an effective and practical method of combating the maggot, both in experimental tests and in the hands of commercial blueberry growers. A high grade calcium arsenate insecticidal dust should be applied at the rate of 6 to 7 pounds per acre at each application.
